  • On November 7th we have the opportunity to hear one of the truly great musical artists of our time right here in the sanctuary at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lumberton. Josh Layne is one of those amazing people who, at an early age, has already carved out a place for himself in the world of music among the best of the best. Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia Josh and Mark Andersen formed a friendship years ago when Mark was the president of the American Harp Society in Seattle, WA and through that friendship Mark brings Josh here to Lumberton as a part of Josh’s East Coast Concert Tour this year. Best of all, the concert will be free to the public with only a freewill donation taken after the concert to assist in paying for Josh’s travel costs. Please come and bring as many friends as you can. It is a rare thing for an artist of such world acclaim comes to perform in a small town and you will get the chance to hear him up close and personal. Don’t think that this will be just a stuffy old classical concert either. Josh will surprise and shock with exciting mu-sic far beyond the imagination of most as he plays harp as a true virtuoso.
  • Potluck will be held Wednesday, November 15th after the 5:30 Holy
Eucharist and Healing Service. Team Two will host. Please join us in the Parish Hall for a great evening of fellowship and thanksgiving!
  • This year’s annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Chestnut Street United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 19 at 7:00pm.
    Address: 200 E 8th St, Lumberton, NC 28358
  • The Bishop will be here on Thursday, November 30th for confirmation. The service will take place at 6:00 pm and there will be a reception in the parish hall immediately following.
  • Due to Thanksgiving & Christmas, we will not be doing Lunch Bunch in November or December but will resume in January!!
  • No Wine and Cheese this month due to Thanksgiving. Check next months newsletter for information on December’s Wine and Cheese.
  • UNCP’s Episcopal Lutheran Campus Ministry is looking for volunteers to provide meals for a small group of students after our weekly meetings throughout the year. If you would like to sign up for a date please contact the Secretary. Campus Ministry will meet after the Pet Blessing at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. We are very appreciative of those of you who have served us so far this year!!!
